The Columbia University Club of New York is an establishment that offers its membership to alumni from
Columbia
University, including the Barnard and Teacher’s College divisions.
Current
Columbia
University faculty, administrators, graduate, and undergraduate students, as well as certificate holders from
Columbia
University are also eligible to join, as are parents and children of any
Columbia
University alumni or current students.
The Columbia University Club of New York is simply a private club for those who are associated with
Columbia
University, on a wide variety of levels, that offers a wonderful social interaction opportunity, as well as a few other amenities specifically for club members.
The Columbia University Club offers its members over 50 overnight rooms, to include two large, comfortable suites, as well as a completely equipped athletic facility with two squash courts. There is also a wonderful lounge and a library with over 10,000 volumes on shelf to choose from. The University Club offers a full calendar of social activities each month. Networking opportunities, as well as lectures and discussions, such as the upcoming Networking for Life Seminar, coming in November and held by career coach Ellis Chase. There are also wine and liquor tastings, and interclub events. These are just a few of the social and business activities that you can be part of in the Columbia University Club. They also offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Club’s Bar & Grill, or cocktails in the evening hours. Members are also encouraged to use the meeting and conference rooms for business meetings, or private events such as family gatherings, or even weddings. The business center offers computers with wireless technology, printers, fax machines, and copiers for members’ use any time they need them. These are wonderful resources for business meetings, or for high-powered student study sessions in a relaxed atmosphere. There are also many discount programs offered with membership.
